BOYCE AVENUE FEVER

When I first hear the name, Boyce Avenue, I already knew the fact that it’s a band. But all I knew was that. It’s a band, and that’s it.

My brother introduced this band to me. He and his friends really like this band as he said. They actually went to watch its concert here in the Philippines (not sure when).

Their first song I’ve heard was “Keep Holding On” because my brother asked me to download it and I listened to it after. I even said “AWESOME!”

But later on, I downloaded a lot of their songs. And what I really liked the most, or first, is “FOREVER”, originally by Chris Brown.

It was like February that time, during the JS Prom when I come to think that it was actually appropriate for their prom. “It’s like I’m waiting my whole life for this one night, it’s gonna be me, you and the dance floor. ‘coz we only got one night, double your pleasure, double your fun, and dance forever ever ever, forever on the dance floor.”

Move over that Forever, I downloaded more of their songs trying to see what more songs they have that can capture my attention.

During my second download, I had a lot of songs that were made acoustic by them. Some are: Disturbia, Icebox, Iris, Before It’s too Late, Love in this Club, Realize, Bleeding Love, Tattoo, No One, Where Is The Love, So Small, Viva La Vida, What Hurts The Most, Don’t Stop The Music, Find Me, 4 minutes and Because Of You. And their only original song that I was able to download was Change Your Mind, and this became my favourite those times.

And for like months of February and March, my playlist was always Boyce Avenue.

And during April, I just found out that my brother has their album! And I used to play it in the player. And unfortunately, I forgot the title of the song that I really liked in their album when he took the album.

For my third download, I was able to find the song that I forgot. And it was Dare to Believe.

Up to May, my playlist always includes their song. Moreover, most of the time, my playlist is only Boyce Avenue alone. And I used to plurk it always.

And until now, my favourite is still “Dare To Believe”. I even used it as a soundtrack in my one-chaptered story in Quizilla. (Feels like for real, huh?)

KEEP ROCKIN’, BOYCE AVENUE! (What if their genre is Pop, should I say, “keep Poppin’?” LOL. Cheesy!)

This days, naririnig ko na sa radyo mga songs nila. Wow naman.
